THE STORY

I'm Tom Murray, and I'm passionate about the guitar. 

Specifically, the electric guitar, and all the fascinating stuff that comes with it: vacuum tube amplifiers, speaker cabinets, effects pedals, pickups and so on. I've been tinkering with them for almost as long as I've been playing them. In my club gig days, I bought, sold and traded a bunch of great vintage and modern guitars and amps. I tried everything I could, and I gradually sorted out what I love (and don't love) about the classic designs. I hot-rodded all my off-the-shelf stuff, and assembled dozens of custom parts guitars. In time, I wanted to build instruments from scratch, so I went to school to learn woodworking and lutherie. I've been building my own designs since, and I'm proud to share my discoveries with you.
